Interpretations:
We met Rebecca. We were amazed to realize that she likes to study in a 5-6 hour block. This is significant because it is a different appoach to studying, as some other students prefer to do their homework and study in smaller chunks.

Observation and quotes: spent more time on his weaker subjects (the sciences); liked to study in the library; listened to music without lyrics (such as classical; lyrics would distract him from his studying).
Interpretations:
We met Andy. We were amazed to realize that he liked to keep a daily regiment of studying between 7-10 p.m. every night. This is significant because most students are more likely to cram in studying whenever they can, rather than having a set time every night.
